Peer Support and Art
Progress Center for Independent Living announces a new monthly peer support group. The group will meet for two hours each session. The first hour is dedicated to sharing personal stories related to disability and learning from the experiences of other people with disabilities. The second hour will be dedicated to producing artwork (no experience necessary).
The group is open to people with disabilities of all ages.
The group is open to people with any type of disability.
Susan Becker, a Progress Center advocate, will lead the group sessions.
Typically, the group meets the second Thursday of each Month from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
