What:

This event will be an opportunity for Progress Center Consumers, Members, Supporters, Allies, and Advocates to have a virtual meeting.  The meeting will give participants time to share how they are feeling, ask questions of others, hear what others are doing and sharing, and perhaps learn some new ways to navigate current challenges.

Why:

More than two years into the pandemic, each of us has challenges to face, and sometimes each of us has to face those challenges without the benefit of face to face contact with our friends, peers, and colleagues. Though we can’t meet in person, this event will give participants a chance to talk over the phone, and connect through Zoom, an online platform, and share what is on our minds.  The floor will be open for people to talk about frustrations they have experienced, accomplishments, new things they’ve learned, and everything in between.

Who:

The event is geared toward consumers, members, and advocates from the Progress Center and broader disability community. All interested people are encouraged and welcome to join though.

When: (There is no meeting on August 15 and August 22, 2022)

The event will be every Monday. Typically, the group met at 3 p.m.  That time has changed. Going forward, the group will meet at 1 p.m.

Where:

The event will be over Zoom.  Participants will be able to connect through either a phone line or through the internet.
