Tax Season 2021

Arlington Heights Senior Center- 847-253-5532
AARP TAX AIDE: Our Tax Aide appointments are filling up quickly. Tax Aide will be conducted by AARP with 2 appointments per person. The first appointment, which is what we are scheduling on Wednesdays/Thursdays every 30 minutes between 9 AM and 2:30 PM; Beginning February 3/4 through the end of March. Taxpayers will bring their documents into the Senior Center to be scanned, then returned. Their documents will go into a portal for a tax aide counselor to prepare virtually. This may take between 7-14 days. We will then call them back to come in to sign/e-file.
Barrington Area Council on Aging- 847-381-5030
Bacoa, Barrington Area Council on Aging, is offering free tax assistance again this year. To schedule the contact-less appointment provided through AARP, someone can call our office at 847-381-5030. Appointments start Tuesday, February 9th and will continue Tuesdays and Fridays through Tuesday, April 13th.
